Since 1988 Driver Education Academy has served Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids, and the surrounding communities. The academy specializes in comprehensive driver education programs for students as well as adults. Refresher driving programs, defensive driving programs, and driver evaluations for industry are fundamental to our purpose. Our programs are tailored to the specific needs of each participant.
Driver Education Academy offers the finest driver education program available. Our academy is licensed by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation. We meet all criteria set forth also by the Department of Public Instruction.
We are a full time driver education academy with over 20 years of professional instruction to students and industry, i.e. Marshfield Clinic, Roehl Transport, Renaissance Learning, etc. Special services provided to: Wood, Clark, Adams, and Portage Counties We have serviced students from all high schools within a 100 mile radius. We have licensed over 7000 students and nearly 1000 adults.
Driver Education Academy’s primary mission is not teaching how to pass road tests, but to develop consistency in driving performance which will lead to passing a road test, and more importantly, to develop proper driving habits which will sustain after licensing. We have a road test pass rate far above average and an accident rate of less than 2%. The state teen crash rate for 1995 was 21.2%.
